SunTuf Polycarbonate Roof Sheeting is a high quality ; extremely durable , lightweight /hail resistant roofing and cladding material designed to provide natural daylight, durability, and weather protection to an area. Primarily for roofing, skylights, rooflights, sidelights and cladding. Unlike flat polycarbonate, the sheet is formed into profiles that can match conventional metal roofing profiles such as IBR, Big 6, Industrial 7 and Widedek

WHat is it made from ?

SUNTUF is made from polycarbonate, a strong high-performance engineering thermoplastic. All from the highest quality virgin Polycarbonate resin , manufactured in UK/America /Israel ; it is highly impact resistant while still being an affordable option for residential , commercial and industrial applications

Polycarbonate is not the same type of plastic you would find in a cheap plastic sheet or packaging. It is an engineering thermoplastic designed to combine high impact resistance , high tensile strength , good stiffness /toughness and flexibility , temperature resistance and long term outdoor durability.

Profiled Sheets or Shaped Sheets are a standard across the World

i.e IBR , Corrugated ,Widespan , Grecca , Big 6 , Industrial 7 ; all readily available but differ in quality depending on production methods

Profiled sheets have many different shapes available

With each shape having a different set width , we cut to any length you need ; Overall Width (OW) and then a Covering Width (CW; the amount of area the sheet will cover when installed and overlapped with an adjacent sheet.)

Profiled (shaped ) sheets have many different thicknesses available

With many different shapes and colours to choose from ; Best for budget tends to be IBR or Corrugated as they are the most commonly made shape ; whereas shapes like SunLock ; Grecca ; Big 6 are not as common and hold a higher production value

All of our profiles sheets have a UV2 coating both sides of the sheet

This is to protect the Polycarbonate from Sun Damage over time (colour fade)

All sheets protect against 99.9% of harmful UV rays but the colour you choose will determine the amount of HEAT and LIGHT is let through

Generally Clear will magnify heat in an enclosed area and is suitable for Greenhouse applications ; Unless well ventilated

Colours like Bronze ; Solar Control (silver) ; Blue or Green are great for areas needing some protection from heat but still require some light.

Colours like Opal are best to reduce heat but they also limit light diffusion

Diffuser colour (smokey white) spreads light to a wider area and diffuses light evenly across the entire area ; great for area needing light or factories that require shielding from heat but still need maximum light to be felt.
